Clerk to the Trustees and Clerk to Haygrove Local Governors

Two exciting Clerk opportunities have arisen within The Quantock Education Trust. We are seeking two appointments for a Clerk for the Board of Trustees and also a Clerk for the Local Governors of Haygrove School. The Quantock Education Trust has a three tier structure of governance consisting of Local Governors, Trustees and Members, all of whom are highly committed and focused on the delivery of the Trust’s vision and values.


Over the course of the academic year, The Clerk for the Board of Trustees is expected to work 402 hours per year and the Clerk for the Local Governors, 198 hours. Both roles are term-time only and will involve the preparation for, setting up of and attendance at evening meetings. Meetings take place on weekdays after school. Outside of these times, candidates will work from home or access the school office
