  • Learning Support Assistant and Midday Supervisor

    We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible Learning Support Assistant to support teaching staff within the Haselbury and Merriott Primary Schools Federation. Our school is a friendly and inclusive rural school at the centre of the village community.

    The successful candidate will support the class teacher by:

    • Supporting learning under the direction of the class teacher, to include leading small group sessions with learning sequences; supporting additional needs and carrying out timetabled evidence-based interventions.
    • Adapting to the needs of individual pupils.
    • Supporting with classroom duties as required by teaching staff.
    • Supporting pupils to have happy and successful playtimes.

    • It would be desirable if the candidate is qualified to Higher Level TA level to support with ad-hoc class cover.
