School Chaplain
If you have a determination to be exceptional in all that you do and have an unrelenting commitment to making a difference to young people’s lives we would love to hear from you!
We are seeking a School Chaplain to join our thriving school community at Sexey’s School. This is an exciting opportunity to offer a prayerful and pastoral presence across the school, supporting students, staff, parents and carers through the many experiences and milestones of school life.
Working closely with the Headteacher, pastoral team, local churches and wider school community, the Chaplain will help to enrich and transform the life of the school through compassionate pastoral care, spiritual support, worship and outreach.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of the Christian faith and its relationship with education, strong pastoral and listening skills, and a genuine desire to work with children and young people. Experience in chaplaincy, spiritual care, collective worship or education are essential.
At Sexey’s, we work together with a determination to be exceptional in all that we do. We are a caring community where pastoral care, faith, compassion and the flourishing of every member of our school community are at the heart of what we do.
If you are excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to young people and contribute to the spiritual and pastoral life of our school, we would very much like to hear from you.
There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) that the holder of this post is a practising Christian in good standing with a denomination recognised by Churches Together in England (Equality Act 2010 part 1) and/or able to provide references that they are a member of good standing in a trinitarian church.
Visits to the school and Trust are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact qetrecruitment@quantockedtrust.co.uk for an appointment
