The core purpose of this role is to work closely with class teachers to support a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), ensuring they are fully engaged in their learning and making sustained progress. The ideal candidates will:

• Have previous TA experience, including experience supporting children with additional needs, and a good standard of literacy and numeracy
• Be committed to supporting and understanding the individual needs of pupils
• Possess a positive, 'can do' and flexible attitude and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team; and
• Hold a Relevant TA qualification or be prepared to work towards gaining Level 2 of the National Qualifications framework.
