Our Trust prioritises the well-being of all its students and staff and seeks constantly to deliver opportunities for extending and enriching learning, both curricular and extra-curricular, and for developing character and preparation for the next stages of learning, including transitional projects and for adult working life.
One of the aims of the Trust senior leadership team is to create a year 5 - 8 curriculum which will ensure preparation for and continued progress across the Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 transition. Teachers from both primary and secondary schools will work together to create a 'continuum of learning' that enables primary children to benefit from early access to secondary teachers and secondary school facilities.
Opportunities are being created for students from both phases (primary and secondary) to learn, socialise and have fun together through collaborative music, art, cooking, sport, computing and design technology activities in particular. All are designed to encourage character development.
