Early Applications

Early applications are encouraged and we reserve the right to close the advert should we feel able to appoint an appropriate candidate before this date.

Shortlisting

Only those candidates meeting the right criteria will be taken forward from application.

Interview

Those shortlisted will take part in an in-depth interview process. Candidates will be asked to address any discrepancies, anomalies or gaps in their application form.

Interview Expenses

The QET will pay second class rail travel, or mileage allowance and reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred by candidates attending interview.

Reference Checking

References from the previous and current employer will be taken up for shortlisted candidates and where necessary, employers may be contacted to gather further information.

Shortlisted candidates may be subject to online searches as part of our Safer Recruitment Process.
