We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to strengthen our well established Learning Support Team and are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to contribute to building on our success as a department. You will be passionate about students’ learning, and you will have the ability to assist the SENDCO and teachers in the development of a programme of work and in the provision of a stable, caring and supportive learning environment, which enables students to achieve their full potential and facilitate their social and moral development.

Post holders will work with teaching staff in implementing and developing educational opportunities to maximise the learning potential of students with Additional Educational Needs and provide supervision, support and care to students with additional or special educational needs, disabilities and/or learning difficulties.This role may be ideal for a candidate who is looking to develop a career in education or experience the rewards of working with young people. We are looking for graduates to start the Graduate Teaching Apprenticeship Programme in September 2024.

The apprenticeship programme provides aspiring teachers with on the job experience in the classroom alongside experienced educators.

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) allowing you to practice in the UK and abroad.

We are seeking applications from graduates with a 2.2 or above in English, Maths, Science, Computing or a related discipline.  Experience working in an educational setting with children and young people would be an advantage, but not essential.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident new member to join our dedicated team of Cover
Supervisors to work with classes across the curriculum during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You
will be required to ensure that students complete the work set by teaching staff, to support students with
their learning as required and maintain students’ behaviour appropriately in accordance with school
policies and procedures. In addition, you may provide administrative support to Heads of Year and Heads of
Department, undertake duties, accompany students on external visits and invigilate for exams.

This post is ideally suited if you are an aspiring teacher or looking to gain valuable experience in a successful
secondary school or education setting. Experience of working with young people would be an advantage
although training and induction will be provided.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Supervisor to join our dedicated on-site Breakfast School Club at Spaxton School.  The successful candidate will hep to provide stimulating and enjoyable activities for the children, in a same and secure environment, in which the children can develop social skills, gain confidence, make new firends, and most of all, have fun!

Required in particular for exams taking place throughout the year, and in particular in Summer 2024, in addition to future exams, we are seeking to strengthen our bank of dedicated Exams Invigilators employed on a casual basis to assist in the smooth running of examinations in accordance with regulatory requirements throughout the academic year.

Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
